Alex is an example of the Biblical principal of Luke 16:10: “One who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much.” Prior to joining Jenkins, Alex was already a faithful contibutor in the Urban Bicycle Food Ministry of Nashville where he continues to actively contribute. Starting in 2018, Alex began assisting with our youth program and continues in that on an as-needed bases, but his role has continually expanded since then.

Alex handles the social media communications to keep our church and community updated on Facebook, Instagram, and the news sections on this web page. This involves recording and editing video clips plus utilization of his creative and technical talents in producing professional posts and website updates.

Alex has also become an expert in professionally handing the streaming of the Sunday worship services which requires another combination of technical and creative talents, plus an uncanny ability to predict the need for upcoming scene changes so a camera can already be in position.

Alex’s latest expansion of duties, in which he has already excelled, has been in creating Powerpoint presentations for each Sunday worship service containing announcements, order of worship, song lyrics, and the like.
