The 2021 Angel Tree was a great success. Here is a message from Jackie Fuqua from Jenkins Outreach Ministry who coordinated this awesome project:
“I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone. Thank you to all that showed up on Monday, December 13 to make the food boxes and work on backpacks. I want to thank everyone for their support of this ministry. I try to teach my children that it is not shameful to ask for help and it is a blessing to be able to help those in need. I am so grateful to the church that supports this ministry – it is very uplifting to my soul.”

Also, did you know that Jenkins CP Church has a food ministry called Nashville Burrito Ministry which serves meals to the homeless community in Nashville weekly? Every Thursday, there are opportunities to help prepare food at the church and/or deliver meals to our friends on the street.
