As you know, I rarely preach sermon series. I’m trying something new, though, and hope you’ll come along for the journey. A friend introduced me to a new way of preparing sermons and I have decided to give it a try the next few weeks. So, beginning 10/24, we’ll have a sermon series titled Job: The Humanity of Pain.
Though the problem of pain hasn’t been figured out in all of humanity’s history, we will recognize how pain is a real human experience, lived in lives of the community, and how God offers hope to all people. I hope you make plans to join us as we learn to understand God, even in the midst of pain, so that we may worship God, be healed, and aid in God’s healing of others. This is the church’s call.
