The welcome baskets are being delivered to Thistle Farms today to help welcome 8 new residents to a new beginning! The baskets include brand new bedding, towels, and toiletries. Thank you Jenkins Church for stepping up and putting these welcome baskets together!
Thistle Farms is an organization that heals, empowers, and employs women survivors of human trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Thistle Farms believes that love is more powerful than all the forces that drive women to the street, and a strong community will help them not only heal, but thrive. Through safe housing, healthcare, counseling, and employment, they provide the tools for physical, mental, and economic freedom. All housing and clinical services are provided free of charge. Meaningful employment leading to financial freedom is instrumental in the healing journey. The social enterprises of Thistle Farms provide gateway and permanent jobs for survivors.
