SERVE<\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Together we worship and serve Jesus Christ and pursue God’s will.<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Jesus called us to be followers of a particular life that he called The Way. Part of The Way is serving others as a community of faith. We call it serving Jesus for many reasons but two of them are that we believe we are serving our Lord when we do what our Lord says do. But also, Jesus reminds us in Matthew 25\u2019s The Sheep and The Goats<\/a> to never get too prideful because when we do serve the least of these, we serve Him.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n

OUTREACH MINISTRY<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"ServeChurch is not the building or the worship service on Sunday morning. It is a community of faith that lives to serve each other and those outside the walls. The Outreach Ministry does exactly that. It organizes outreach into the community through Angel Tree Christmas ministries for local children and the homeless, partners with Nolensville Food Pantry, provides benevolence support for those in need, gathers school supplies for local children, organizes Second Harvest Food Bank distributions, pays off school lunch debts, and any other ideas that the congregation finds that the community needs.<\/p>\n

Jackie Fuqua heads up the Outreach Ministry and would love your help with existing projects or your suggestions and a passion for another one. You can find her on Sundays or by contacting the church office.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]\n

BURRITO MINISTRY<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]\"ServeThe Nashville Burrito Ministry is a 10 year old food ministry that offers respect and honor to the homeless with whom we share a meal on Thursday evenings. Seeing the dignity of everyone, volunteers make as many as 160 burritos, combine them with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and untold numbers of goodies, and serve homeless camps and gathering spots throughout the Nashville area.<\/p>\n

Would you like to help? We\u2019re open to many ways of involvement: help us assemble the food, deliver it, make homemade cookies for those who never get them, donate financially, pray for us, or any number of other ways of assisting.
